Carcass
My debut experimental lofi folk-rock album from 1976. Recorded on a TEAC reel to reel 4 track. There's tape hiss, crackles, pops, analogue old school distortion - just about everything you'd expect from the day! Alas the original master tapes have had their day, and these recordings were salvaged from an ancient stereo cassette! Released August 1976 on cassette. All songs written, recorded and produced by Sean Wright. Ambient field stereo cassette recordings by Sean Wright.
"Wright is a new wave prototype... a high energy treat."
- John Peel, BBC Radio 1.
"Yep, I like the early lo-fi Sean Wright songs. The Carcass album is a classic, man." Daniel Johnston, singer-songwriter.
"Wright is a talented DIY artist worth popularising," Max Bell, NME.
